Removal of varicose veins of lower limbs
- This procedure consists in laser removal of varicose veins. It is undertaken with the use of a catheter and optical fibers inserted into the veins through a small incision. This procedure is much more effective and safer than a standard surgical intervention.
- The procedure is undertaken under a local anaesthesia and full recovery of a regular activity lasts several days.
Repair of groin and umbilical hernia
- The procedure of repairing a hernia consists in reconstruction of external layers so that the internal organs (usually intestines) remain at the proper location.
- Patients are allowed to return home already in 24 hours after the procedure. Recovery of a regular activity last a few days.
